We also have seven friendly dental assistants and receptionists, some of whom have been with us over 25 years:

Martina is the owner of The Dental Studio and has been at the practice since 2005. She qualified from Leeds University in 2001 and is an experienced and accomplished clinician. Martina is particularly interested in orthodontics (teeth straightening) and Invisalign. She also has over 10 years experience in facial aesthetics including wrinkle relaxants and dermal fillers.
“I am passionate about dentistry and the love the feeling you get when you make a patient smile with confidence for the first time in years. However, the most rewarding part of my job is building a great relationship with my patients based on trust (and some humour!) and seeing them come back year after year.”
Martina has two young boys (and one husband) to keep her on her toes in her spare time and loves going to the gym when she is not standing on a freezing cold football pitch cheering on her sons!

Adam qualified from Newcastle University in 1994 and has over 20 years providing high quality dentistry to his patients. He especially enjoys restorative and cosmetic dentistry and is currently finishing a 3 year MSc in Endodontics (root canal treatment), so is able to take on particularly tricky cases.
Adam's friendly and gentle approach will put even the most nervous patients at ease. He enjoys keeping fit and is a closet vinyl nerd, even doing the odd spot of DJing! We also love his dry sense of humour.

Available Saturdays only.
Zaid qualified from Leeds University in 2006 and has since had a varied career working in general practice and is now working in hospital full time as an SHO working towards his ISFE in restorative Dentistry and PhD.
He is highly skilled in a variety of disciplines and is also able to place implants.
We wonder that he has any spare time after getting all those qualifications but Zaid enjoys spending time with his family and going to the gym.

Rachael is a highly experienced and caring dentist who puts the wellbeing of her patients at the heart of their care.
She qualified from Newcastle University in 1996, and particularly enjoys seeing her patients regularly, building up trusting relationships and encouraging a prevention-based approach to oral health. Rachael is extremely popular with nervous patients due to her clam and gentle demeanour.
Outside of work Rachael enjoys being with her two daughter, keeping fit and reading.

Gemma graduated from Leeds University in 2013 and has been a valuable member of our team since then. Dental therapists are like hygienists that can also carry out fillings and baby tooth extractions. She is passionate about dentistry, always makes her patients feel at ease and loves treating children. She will soon be offering wrinkle relaxant and dermal fillers at the practice.
Gemma has a lovely little boy and loves shopping and socialising. She also takes awesome selfies and loves Desperados (a type of drink!)

Sue qualifed in 2002 as a dental hygienist and has been at the practice since 2003. She has a wealth of experience and has built strong relationships with her patients having been at the practice many years. They trust her to leave them with sparkling smiles and healthy gums.
Sue has two children and loves going to gigs, reading and socialising. Her favourite bands are The Killers and Imagine Dragons and McBusted (?!)

When her employer began explaining what the role would entail the penny dropped and she realised to her delight it was for a TCO job! Being ready for a new challenge Tracie accepted the job offer and the rest is history.
Tracie is passionate about providing world class customer care, digital dentistry and the patient journey. She relishes the challenges that her new role brings and has made it her own.
In her spare time Tracie loves spend time with her family, socialise with friends and take on new decorating projects.

Deborah is great at reassuring nervous patients and gives tours of the practice to those thinking of joining.
